U.S electronic insurance exchange and MGA incubator MarketScout has announced the launch of a new facility aimed at Social Services providers, called Social Support.

Social Support will provide professional liability, general liability, property, cyber and limited auto coverage and will underwrite on behalf of Lloyd’s of London.

The facility will provide coverage for a vast range of social services companies, from day schools to drug rehabilitation and group homes.

“We’ve had tremendous success incubating MGAs, so providing a program for the growing social services sector makes a lot of sense,” explained Laura McCormick, Professional Lines Practice Leader at MarketScout.

She added: “We believe we’ve provided a well-rounded policy making it easy for these businesses to get essential coverages in one policy form.”

Headquartered in Dallas, MarketScout is an insurance distribution and underwriting company, and is a Lloyd’s Coverholder and MGA for U.S insurers.

In addition to owning and operating the MarketScout Exchange, MarketScout manages over 40 other online and traditional underwriting and distribution venues.
