DALLAS, July 15, 2016 – The Entrepreneurial Insurance Alliance© (EIA), formed by MarketScout in 2010, today announced the appointment of Steven J. England, CEO of Global Special Risks (GSR), LLC, part of Ryan Specialty Group, LLC to the EIA Advisory Board. Mr. England has over twenty years of experience in leading and growing insurance operations in the United States. Prior to joining Global Special Risks (GSR), Mr. England was the Executive Vice President – US Field Operations for
Ironshore US, where he was instrumental in developing Ironshore’s Property and Specialty Casualty business. Before joining Ironshore in 2008, Mr. England spent 16 years at AIG. At AIG his responsibilities included overseeing AIG’s Houston Property and Casualty operations and then serving as President of Landmark Insurance Company. He began his insurance career in 1988 as an actuarial analyst with National Casualty Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. England has an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Tarkio College and a Master’s in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance, from Webster University.
