DALLAS, TX –The Council for Insuring Private Clients (CIPC), formed by MarketScout in 2012, today announced the appointment of LoriAnn V. Lowery-Biggers to its Advisory Board, effective immediately.

LoriAnn is CEO of Bella Vaughan, an award-winning global diamond, custom design and manufacturing company. She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as President of Lloyd’s of London North America and held a number of global executive positions at The Navigators Group, Inc. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Copper Point Mutual Insurance Holding Company and Chair of Finance & Investment. She also serves as Lead Independent Director of Brown & Riding. She is a Non-Executive Director of Protective Insurance (NASDAQ: PTVCB) and serves as a Non-Executive Director of BMS Group and Investment Holding Company and is Chair of the BMS US Governance and Enterprise Risk Committee. She serves on the board of A21, a global non-profit dedicated to abolishing human trafficking and a 2017 recipient of the Mother Teresa Harmony Award. Ms. Lowery-Biggers also has an extensive speaking and leadership background and was named a 2008 “Woman to Watch” by Business Insurance Magazine as well as Forbes’ “Top 40 Women to Watch”.
